Huge shout out to Little Brown Farm - it's such a special place, and this year they are donating the use of their barn for this photoshoot - they love senior dogs as much as we do.
Ania and Brian, along with their two boys, have poured their heart and souls into creating this beautiful farm. I am incredibly fortunate to be able to hold photo sessions here. It's more than just a lavender farm - it's bursting with colourful flower beds and natural beauty, the entire property feels like a dream. To make things even better, they are pet lovers with a couple of dogs and several cats!
Be sure to plan on a little shopping in the barn by where you'll find gorgeous dried hand-tied bouquets and a selection of lavender products. They will also be selling some home grown pumpkins this year!

A few more things to keep in mind!
Please feel free to dress up your pet!
If your dog has special dietary needs or allergies, be sure to bring their favourite safe treats. I'll have dried liver and everyone's favorite dried sardines!
Dogs must remain on a leash at all times on the property and in the barn. The farm has resident cats that may roam. We must be very respectful while in the barn shop as Ania will have flowers drying and her products on display.
This location is best suited for one to two dogs or three small dogs. Dog's will be placed on a large platform so I can photograph them at eye level (I'll be sitting not standing). Humans are not allowed on the platform.
It's always helpful to bring a friend or family member along to lend a hand during the shoot.
These are not family photo sessions.
